I love food… I have cooked from an early age and just bloody love it! What more is there to say!
I’ve been a chef since I was 15, and have worked across loads of different areas in the food space from restaurants to street food, cookery schools to recipe development. I have done the long shifts and been shouted at (wasn’t for me). I now take all my knowledge and cram it into chaotic cooking videos which educate you on making food taste amazing as well as trying to break down the barrier of food waste being a weird, hippy message on sustainability and climate change!
Simplicity is key… Eat The Food You Buy and you create no waste in your home.
I suppose I am not your normal chef, I did a 4 week intense catering course in Ashburton where I learnt how to think like a chef, but learnt everything I know from being inquisitive in kitchens!
My main thought process in food is “Don’t over think it”. Yes, you need knowledge in food to cook things, but if you like your beans on toast with Marmite – you go there sister!
We need to appreciate that everyone has a different palette and enjoys doing things differently. And this is where I come in, I want to unlock your joy of cooking by guiding you on how to make those choices, not making those choices for you.
